If going to the movies instead of running errands is wrong, then you probably shouldn’t be right. Leave the spring-cleaning at home and forget the dry cleaning. Treat yourself to classic cinema and classy drinks (OJ and champagne is classy, right?) at the “Movie & Mimosas” series in Reston.

As convenient as it is to rent or stream a video at home, there’s an undeniable special “something” about watching a film on the big screen. Add a morning drink to the mix and you’ve got movie magic. “Movies & Mimosas” does just that. This Saturday and Sunday starting at 11 a.m., you can catch Fred Astaire and Judy Garland in the 1948 musical “Easter Parade.”

Can’t make it out to Reston this week for “Easter Parade”? You can catch the next Movies & Mimosas session (April 6-7); the first James Bond movie “Dr. No” (1962) will be showing!

March 30 & 31, 11 a.m.
Movies & Mimosas
Bow Tie Cinemas, 11940 Market St., Reston
$5.50 / bowtiecinemas.com
