Sweet Surprises
Three quirks of the shop that you can’t miss:
1) Some clothes racks are set at a toddler’s height. (Yes, little girls come in and pull off clothes from these racks that catch their eyes to show their mothers.)
2) In stores now, there is a collection of “Mad Men”-inspired clothing for tiny tots – need I say more?
3) Each season, a clothing line inspired by a foreign country is released; this season’s theme is China.
Fiercest Fans: Customers range from wee toddlers commanding their own fashion sense to their parents and grandparents. Manager Melanie Lile says, “We watch the kids grow up. We have everyone from the typical mom working in the Town Center to a businessman from Mexico shopping for a present for his pregnant wife.”
Blows to the Budget: Apparel ranges from $22 to 50 and gifts/accessories range from $7 to 20.
